Summary:Sanjay is unconvinced that Cutting Edge has anything to offer its workers. Sherry nervously addresses an unresponsive Carol on her ideas for how Cutting Edge could become an employer of choice. She would like to see incentives for increased productivity, such as free food (nuts and yoghurt), a challenging and stimulating environment, paternity leave, job sharing, and so on. Sam notes that employees who feel valued tend to stay longer. He wants more opportunities to grow and maybe a gym, while Carlos would like more recognition. Others suggest social events, flexible hours and Steve prioritizes fair pay, recognition and a relaxed atmosphere at work. Barney, neighboring CEO, offers development opportunities, including performance planning, career paths, and training. Carol presents Sherry's ideas to Marcus, as if they were her own. The program highlights a range of factors, which can contribute to organizations becoming an employer of choice.
