Summary:Nigeria is home to some of the deadliest snakes in the world and without quick access to anti-venom, their victims can be permanently disabled or die. The Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine is working with the Nigerian Ministry of Health to develop cheaper and safer anti-venoms. It's a complicated and dangerous process, which involves separating out the most toxic parts of the venom.
