Summary: | Alexander Armstrong explores Iceland - the land of glaciers and geysers, and summers where the sun never sets. He's on a quest to discover all Iceland has to offer and witnesses erupting geysers, visits breath-taking glaciers and meets a man who bakes bread in boiling water. Alexander also walks through the buzzing streets of Reykjavik, plays a round of midnight golf and rides an Icelandic horse. And in the land where rotten shark is a delicacy, Alexander samples possibly the world's most disgusting dish - so you don't have to. On the last leg of his Icelandic adventure, Alexander heads to the south of the country, where he takes in some of the country's most spectacular scenery. On the top of a glacier, he learns how the ice is thinning at an alarming rate, before boarding the world's greenest and weirdly silent ferry, heading for the island of Heimaey.
