Copy 1: Tipped-in letter (dated 5 January 1899) and postcard (dated 7 March 1900) from Grace L.S. Dyche to Wm. H. Laubert regarding the publication of the Cranbrook Press edition.
Copy 1: Tipped-in clipping advertsing the reprint of Scripps' "Life" by Cranbrook Press.
Copy 2: Extra-illustrated copy: 35 leaves of plates bound in chiefly consisting of portraits of Lincoln, a number of which are set in windowpane leaves with information regarding the image written in pencil on the verso; 2 additional laid-in illustrations; 4-page letter on mourning stationery from Mary Lincoln dated 24 December [18]65 on plate facing page 45 of text; the final added plate is an invitation from the Chicago Historical Society for their celebration of the 100th anniversary of Lincoln's birth; also bound in at end is a porcelain portrait of Lincoln measuring 23 x 15 cm.
