Familiarly known as the "Lahrer komersbuch." The 1st edition, 1858, was a revision of "Deutsches lieder mit ihren melodien", Leipzig, 1843. The 36th edition, 1889, and many subsequent editions appeared under title: Schauenburgs Allgemeines dutsches kommersbuch. Editions subsequent to about 1911 again have title: Allgemeines deutsches kommersbuch.
