Former owner's manuscript inscription on front flyleaf: Alex. Fraser Tytler. These chronicles appear to be compiled with considerable accuracy and contain curious and valuable matter - but the writer appears tinctured with Republican prejudices.
Binding: Speckled calf over board; blind-tooled boards; red morocco lettering piece with gilt lettering on spine; red stained edges.
