The first 14 volumes are not dated, but from internal evidence the date of their publication has been fixed from about May 1790 to Sept. 1792. Publication was then suspended until Nov. 13, 1792, when two numbers, called t. 1, no. 1-2 (Nov. 13-14, 1792) were issued. It was then suspended a second time until Sept. 11, 1794, whence the journal ran until Aug. 12, 1795, in 157 numbers, called t. 7-9, to follow the first six volumes, edited by Fréron alone, or by Fréron and Marat. cf.
