Notes: | Each part has a special t.p. (without imprint) beginning, "A series of tables of the several branches of American manufactures". These tables, prepared for the Treasury Dept. by Tench Coxe, signed May 30, 1813, and transmitted by him to the acting secretary of the Treasury June 21, 1813, form the third and fourth parts of "A statement of the arts and manufactures of the United States of America for the year 1810: digested and prepared by Tench Coxe, esquire, of Philadelphia. Philadelphia, Printed by A. Cornman, Junr. 1814." They are included also in that document as reprinted with title "Digest of manufactures" in American state papers. [Finance, v. 2] Washington, Gales and Seaton, 1832, no. 407, p. 666-812. In pt. II of the tables (pt. IV of the whole work) p. 44 is incorrectly numbered "(49)". A leaf, unnumbered, the recto blank, is inserted before p. 45, which is its relative position in the "American state papers" issue. It is inserted, less properly, in the Philadelphia print of 1814, before p. 49 sig. N.
