Competition v. monopoly: the case of the American people against the New York sugar refiners. Twenty-four arguments advanced by the New York refiners of raw sugar favoring the reduction or removal of the duty on foreign raw sugar, the wrecking of the people's home beet sugar industry, and reestablishing in the refiners an absolute monopoly of the sugar business and consequent control of prices to the consumer, together with a reply to each argument.
