| Summary: | Jim Stark, the teen-age son of a well-to-do family, is overcome by loneliness, frustration and anger, which leads to violence when he seeks approval of a gang of high-school hoodlums. Before the feature are three "Behind the cameras" segments from the "Warner Bros. presents" TV series, including a "safe-driving" interview withdrawn from airing following actor James Dean's death.
