Provenance: | Unidentified armorial bookplate. Shield inside a wreath topped with a crown. The shield has seven tinctures per bend. The three tinctures on the left contain, from top to bottom, a crescent moon, a lion passant, and a six-pointed star The four tinctures on the right are blank. Atop the shield are two helmets with coronets, topped on the left with a lion salient holding a sceptre and the right with palm branch. Binding: Panel-stamped alum tawed pigskin over boards; stamped on front board: S.Z.B.A. 1566; brass clasps; in manuscript on paper spine label: Ioannes Velcurion.
