Local Note:University of Chicago Library's copy is very clean and unmarked, with an early signature of John Law on rear flyleaf. It was rebound in the nineteenth century in elegant tree grained calf with an elaborate gilt greek key motif, reinforced hinges and marbled endpapers.

This reprints the original Mastricht text of 1711, but a bare text without introduction, notes or apparatus. Quarto with two columns per page. It is set in the celebrated small typeface of Alexander Wilson, designer for Foulis, and used in many of their printings of classic Greek literature. It is one of the first modern Greek types. Foulis brothers never printed another New Testament.
