Summary:Based on the true story of Karl Koch, an idealistic and rebellious high school student in Hanover in the 1980s, who becomes obsessed with conspiracy theories inspired by his favorite novel, Robert Anton Wilson's "Illuminatus". After learning how to hack into government computers, Karl and a friend begin working for the KGB. Karl soon becomes addicted to cocaine and other drugs and begins to lose control of his life.
