The Churchwarden's letters to the labouring poor, and others of his village, relative to the high price of provisions, recommending a peaceable line of conduct and an appeal to Parliament to which is added, a specific plan for a general petition, from the common people, to the House of Commons, praying for the establishment of such laws and regulations as may effectually reduce the price of the common necessaries of life.
