Theological material included a variety of religious news, Bible studies, essays on doctrine, and biographies; and attention was also given to literary news, articles on education and history, news of recent inventions, and geographical sketches. The area of national affairs was given comprehensive coverage, and foreign and naval news were also included. There was occasional religious, moral, and humorous poetry." --Cf.
