Summary: | First edition of the Biennale dedicated to outdoors art that included the participation of 40 artists from Germany, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Chile, Spain, France, Japan, México, Switzerland, United States and Venezuela who had their artwork exhibited in parks, museums gardens, and in and around Caracas and other 11 states of Venezuela. The works posted throughout the cities included Arte povera, Mobile Art (using public buses), installations, performances, video-art, performance-action paintings, photographs, graffiti, architectural interventions and pyrotechnic objects. These ephemeral or permanent creations although different had in common their main topic: nature and humanity and were made with safe and non-contaminating materials.
