Summary:The love story of a Bulgarian youth and a Turkish village teacher, set against the background of the horrors of the ethnic assimilationist policies of Communist Bulgaria and the forced exodus of the Turkish minority in 1984. For her role in this film, Vesela Kazakova won the award of best female actor at the 2005 Moscow Film Festival and was selected among the "Shooting Stars" at the 2006 Berlin Film festival.
