Summary:Dorothy Dandridge was born on November 9, 1922, in Cleveland, Ohio. She was also known as Dorothy D. Nicholas. She attended an NAACP meeting with her husband, Harold Nicholas. She later moved to France and lived there as an entertainer. Her name appears in FBI files, but she was not the subject of an FBI investigation.
