Summary:Octaviano (b. Guadalajara, Mexico, 1853- d. 1921) was a talented, innovative photographer who was awarded the first prize the Paris Universal Exposition in 1878. The exhibition is the first modern exhibition of his work. He achieved great recognition in his lifetime The majority of his work is portraiture and includes such greats as Porfirio Díaz.
