Summary:Exhibition devoted to Augusto Torres (b. Spain 1913 - 1992) the second son of famous master artist, Joaqun Torres-García. Throughout his life, Torres participated in all the activities of his father's teaching atelier, the Taller Torres-García and was an inspirational teacher of several of today's fine young artists. Although traveling widely; and dividing his time between Barcelona and Montevideo, he is considered one of Uruguay's most important plastic artists of the 20th century.
