Far from seeing international reform as well-meaning but potentially irresponsible, Progressive Realists like E.H. Carr, John Herz, Hans J. Morgenthau, and Reinhold Niebuhr developed forward-looking ideas which offer an indispensable corrective to many presently influential views about global politics.
