Summary:	Sixty photographic images by 14 authors comprise the 16th edition of the Pirelli Photographic Collection of the Museum of Art of Sao Paulo. The images presented differ in content and in the context in which they were produced. There are also major differences in time: almost 60 years separate the documentary work of Andreas Heineger, Herman Graeser, Luciano Carneiro, Andre Cipriano and Fabiana Figuereido from the most recent photographers including: Ana Lucia Mariz, Ricardo van Steen, Julio Bittencourt, Tuca Viera, Joo Wainer and other photographers whose works have inspired a collection built over a 16-year period and that now represents 257 authors.
