Varying Form of Title:Total abolition of slavery in the United States
Notes:Discusses using the excess funds expected from the tariff of 1832 for purchasing slaves and then colonizing them in Africa. Refers to a projection by the Secretary of the Treasury for March 3, 1833 on p. 7. The New York City directory for 1831-1832, copyrighted in 1831, has the only listing for S. Hoyt & Co. on Nassau St. "Ann c. Nassau." Probably printed late 1831 or early 1832.
