Summary: | Photostats of the three known manuscripts of Alfonso el Sabio's 13th century Spanish law code "Setenario", in three bound volumes and one unbound photostat. The first, located in the Cathedral of Toledo (77 leaves), dated from 14th century. The second, located in the Library of the Escorial (106 pages of double pages), dated from around 1400. The third, located in the National Spanish Library (204 leaves of double pages, unbound), dated from 1752. These photocopies were made for the use of the University of Chicago professor Hayward Keniston and were subsequently used by professor K. Vanderford in his doctoral research. Also in this collection: 1945 printed edition of the manuscript prepared by prof. Kenneth Vanderford, published in Buenos Aires.
