| Notes: | BWV 1053, 1055, and 1056 are traditionally accepted as works for solo harpsichord and string orchestra, and likewise BWV 1060 for 2 harpsichords and string orchestra, although there is considerable evidence that this work was originally for oboe and violin with string orchestra. Performed here on period instruments without instrumental doubling in the ripieno.
