Summary: | This book examines with images and texts how men live their body, and the role it plays in what we define as "masculinity". Defined by prejudices and without a cultural capacity to eradicate them, the images of nude males still represent a challenge and provocation in Mexico. "Muscle Hearth, masculinities in Mexico" is the exploration of this old taboo through a photographic proposal by Rogelio Cuéllar and Maritza López and texts by Andrés de Luna, Juan Guillermo Figueroa, Alfredo Fressia, Teresa González Arce, Carlos López Beltrán and Rafael Toriz.
